Since the the dawn of the new millenium, each year has brought changes to our garden. The original plan, however, remains much the same. The conifers were cut down in 2001 as they had become too tall. They were replaced with winter and spring flowering shrubs. A pergola was constructed against the rear wall of the house and planted with Copenhagen red roses and clematis - ‘the rose walk’ - in June the scent is divine as we walk along the path. In the summer pots of varying shapes and sizes are filled with geraniums, fuchsias and cannas.
